Originally you were recording as Ghetto Ruckus, now you are making tracks as Redial. Can you explain the name change?
Ghettoruckus was 4 mates just out to have fun djing i wrote a few tunes under that name but after a while i wanted more so decided to go m own way and persue with my solo stuff as redial
How did you get into making beats? Do you come from a musical background?
I played the drums for 6-7 years i guess thats my musical background but ive always been mucking round with keboards/guitars etc.
You've had alot of love from music blogs, how key do you think they are for aspiring DJ's/Producers?
I guess i started out by remixing something well known, people will usually always check that out when they see a big name. Also myspace has been a huge help
The video of AVH playing your Daft Punk remix is pretty crazy, it must have been quite a feeling seeing that for the first time?
I think i was at work and Im pretty sure i didnt work for the next hour after i saw that. Definatly was a gobsmacking moment for me
Your now signed to Sweat It Out. Can you give us the lowdown on your first EP?
Yup signed to Sweat It Out Which is AJAX's New label, New EP will have 4 Originals then their remix's. A few of the tracks on it you can hear on my myspace :)
Did you enjoy making the Guest Mix?
Def loved making it, and loved it being a live set! I would have loved to put a whole lot more in.
